She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. McKinley Philpot and Annie Mildred Philpot; her friend Zeta Phi Beta Sorority; her daughter Dr. Tujuana Davie Badgett (Dwayne); and her siblings, McKinley Philpot, Willie Rufus Philpot, Morris Philpot, Forrest Philpot, Donald Philpot, Corliss Philpot and Kathryn Phillips.
She is survived by: her daughters, Torrice Davie Smith (Rufus) of Newnan, GA and Dr. Emille Davie Lawrence (Gregory) of San Francisco, CA; her grandchildren, Ryan Smith (Cheyenne), Morgan Smith, Cheyenne Badgett, Lauran Smith, Aidan Badgett, Margot Lawrence and Grayson Lawrence; and her sisters, Bettye Byrd (Grady), Joyce Leonard and Dr. Winnie Anderson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
