She was predeceased by: her husband James; her parents, Herbert Garrett and Myrtle Garrett; and her brothers, Tony Garrett (Sara) and Larry Garrett.

She is survived by: her daughter Kim Coggin (Mitch); her grandchildren, Lauren Coggin and Garrett Coggin; her sibling's children, Ice Cream, Alyssa Denney and Brianna Williams; and her close friend Yogi.
