He was predeceased by: his father Walter Homer Drake; his wife Ruth Bridges Drake; and his brother Dr. Henry C. Drake. He is survived by: his sons, Walter H. Drake, III (Tracie) and Taylor Bridges Drake (Lori); and his grandchildren, Harrison, Wesley, Wheeler, Ella Catherine, Taylor, Jr. and Henry.
