He was predeceased by : his parents, David Aldridge, Sr. and Minnie Lois Mitchell–Aldridge. He is survived by : his wife Ruth Ann Joiner-Aldridge; his siblings, Carl Payne of Opelika, Jean Morgan of Opelika, David Aldridge Jr. (Wonders) of Miami, Michael Aldridge (Sidney) of Perry, Delores Smith of Tallahassee, Inez Aldridge of Miami, Denise Williams (Walter) of Warner Robins, Sharon Aldridge of Miami, Patsy Braddy (John) of Miami, Stanley Aldridge of Tallahassee, Timothy Aldridge of Tallahassee and Joe Darren Aldridge, Sr. of Miami Florida; his aunts and uncles, Glennie Aldridge, Clara Buchanon, Katharine Jackson (Richard), Allean Reese, Willie Aldridge (Nelly) of Auburn and William Mitchell of Plymouth Massachusetts; his stepchildren, Shimeka Joiner of Warner Robins, Shakelo Larry (Anthony) of Montezuma, Georgia and Hakeem Larry of Perry, Georgia; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Joiner of Montezuma, Shirley Lockhart of Perry, Georgia, John Joiner, Sr. of Fort Valley, A. W. Joiner, Jr. of Montezuma and Kenneth Joiner (Angela) of Perry. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Other masked attendees are welcomed but will be expected to practice social distancing.
