With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Winfred F. Powell of Oxford, Georgia, who passed away on February 12, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife June Powell; his son Randy Joe Powell; his parents, William Clifford and Sally Pearl Powell (Winslett); his brother Jesse Powell; and his granddaughter Sandy Garrett.

He is survived by : his children, Ricky (Melanie Powell), Rodney (Judy Powell), David (Cherie Powell), Wallace (Donna Sears), Joyce (Ronald Garrett) and Janie Hudson of Covington, GA; and his sisters, Ruby Boss of Blue Ridge, GA, Carolyn Thompson of Oxford, GA and Joyce Bryant of Loganville, GA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
