It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Thomas Bentley Jr. of Palmetto, Georgia, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Thomas Bentley, Sr. and Earnestine Hill Bentley; his sister Peggy Turner; his siblings-in-law, Beverley Johnston and Frank Lambert; his niece Elizabeth Lambert; and his nephew Stanton Johnston.
He is survived by: his wife Sara Bentley of Palmetto, GA; his children, Stephanie Anderson (James) of Powder Springs, GA and Fred Bentley, III of Palmetto, GA; his granddaughter Katie Anderson; his siblings-in-law, L. M. Turner, Stan Johnston, David Grubbs (Dianne) and Karen Lambert; and his nephews, Allen Turner, Mac Turner, Stephen Johnston, Patrick Johnston, Doug Almond, Nathan Almond, Jason Grubbs, Joseph Grubbs, Paul Grubbs, John Lambert and Philip Lambert.
