He was predeceased by : his parents, Newton Waddell and Jewel Poteat Waddell; his son William "Billy" Herbert Waddell; his son-in-law Robert Brian Valimont; his brother Michael Waddell; and his grandchildren, Elijah Jackson Valimont and Toni Nicole Voss.
He is survived by : his wife Frances Owens Waddell of Peachtree City, GA; his daughters, Traci Lynn Voss (Rick), Brenda Faye Niemann (Johnny), Wendi Gillespie Olive (Keith) and Gay Gillespie Valimont; his brothers, Kenneth Waddell (Mary) and Ronnie Waddell (Kay); his grandchildren, Jennifer Olive, Dana Griffin (Tyler), Abby Garcia (Remington), Hunter Yarbrough, Anna Niemann, Kristen Voss and Tessa Yarbrough; and his great grandchildren, Avery Griffin, Brayden Griffin, Hunter Hohenstein and Gunner Tevenal.
