He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Bruce and Helen Evelyn Martin. He is survived by: his siblings, Jim Hinds, Lou Ann Martin (Garner) and Alma Lee "Dickie" Martin (Moore); his wife Stacy Martin (Long); his children, Krista Martin Watkins (Miles), Ashley Martin Cockrell (Jake) and Zach Martin (Becca Tobin); his grandchildren, Buck Watkins, Lulu Watkins, Wyatt Watkins, Kenzie Cockrell, Cash Cockrell, Birdie Cockrell and Ford Martin; and his sons, Ronnie Long (Tracey), Steven Long (Summer), Mark Garner and Preston Garner (Kellie).

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Peachtree City (208 Willowbend Rd, Peachtree City, GA 30269).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Tunnels to Towers Foundation or the "Lunch Bunch" at the First Baptist Church of Peachtree City in his honor.
