With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenya Powell Anders of Peachtree City, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 6, 2025 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Colonel Stanley P. Houghton and Joan Noble Houghton. She is survived by: her husband David; her children, Rebekah (Sean), Lloyd (Jackie), Luke (Savannah), Rachel and Lincoln; her grandson Levi Noble Anders; and her siblings, James (Jody), John Houghton (Gena) and Jo Reeves (Brad). She is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, and cousins.

She was a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and was awarded lifetime membership for her enduring contributions to the field.
