She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Feather and C. Fleming Feather; and her husband Stephen Wallace Veasey. She is survived by: her children, Alice Sheets (Craig), Rebecca Anderson (Brian) and Daniel Veasey (Jennifer); her sisters, Catherine "Tuffy" Steger (Carey) and Susie Hess (Robert); and her grandchildren, Lauren, Bennett, David, Quinton, Savannah, Olivia and Abigail. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM and on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Peachtree City (200 Robinson Rd, Peachtree City, GA 30269). A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Franklin Memorial Park (240 S Main St, Rocky Mount, VA 24151).
