She is survived by : her husband Michael Murphy of Larry's Main Entrance; her children, David Sattler (Janet), Jeff Sattler (Karen), Kelly Batcho (Mark), Michael Murphy Jr. (Katherine), Laura Neal (Mark) and Caroline Smith (Lonnie); and her grandchildren, Nicole Palmer (David), Katie Strine (Ryan), Joe Sattler, Jenny Harris (Stephen), Bobby Sattler (Tracy), Tyler Penrose, Travis Batcho, Erin Diver (Will), Hannah Murphy, Patrick Murphy, Abby Neal, Casey Neal, Ryan Murphy (Marella), Kayla Murphy, Jessica Murphy and Josh Smith.

In lieu of flowers, Sue requested donations to the American Heart Association.

Pat Marshall wrote a sympathy message

“It’s hard to process that such a bright light has gone out. I considered Sue a dear friend during the ten years we shared on Hilton Head. I loved being her driver in a golf cart. We never spent time together that we didn’t laugh and laugh some more. I’ve missed her since she moved away, and am relieved that her health issues are resolved now. All sympathy and best wishes to Mike and the rest of the family. Pat Marshall”
