It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wesley Tanner of Pearson, Georgia, who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Leon "Zeke" Tanner and Colleen Clement Tanner; his pet Charlie Brown; his wife Nelva "Nell" Tanner; his siblings, Jesse "Zeke" Tanner and Ruby Ellen Swindle; his son Locke Tanner (April) of Lizella; his sister Sandra Tanner Pittman of Axson; and his grandchildren, Ella Tanner and Sutherlin Tanner. He was also cherished by Several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
