She was predeceased by: her husband Merrill E. Bacon; her parents, Joseph Fillmore Gill, Sr. and Bedie Haymans Gill; and her siblings, Henry Gill, Blanche Kent, Lollie Clark, Josie Martin, Mary Youmans and Fillmore Gill, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Merrill Philip Bacon, MD (Carol) of Midway, GA, Jerry Bacon Beard (Waymon) of Richmond Hill, GA, Bea Bacon Betsworth of Savannah, GA and Flo Bacon Lee of Atlanta, GA; her sister Elaine Gill Morgan of Richmond Hill; her nephew Gill III (Moe) of Fleming, GA.; her grandchildren, Candace (Marty), Kate (Nathan), Whitney (Trey), Meredith (Jasna), Laura (William) and Lane (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Lawson, Will, Morgan, Thomas, Cyrus, Loren, Worth, Elle, Eleanor, McKenna and Gabriel.
