He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Bacon and Eunice Bacon; his stepmother Annie Lee Bacon; his wife Freda Bacon; and his sisters, Shirley Bacon, Ellen Fiveash, Patricia Waters and Florene Wetherington.
He is survived by: his friend Mary Frances "Freda" Bacon; his son Douglas Paine; his daughter-in-law Toni Bacon; his grandchildren, Lauren Martin and William Bacon; his siblings, Perry Bacon (Marie), Stanley Bacon (Kathy), Raymond Bacon (Annette), Roy Bacon (Carol), Margaret Howell, Brenda Morgan, June Copi (Ken), Frances Frost and Karen Bacon; his brothers-in-law, Fred Paine and Johnny Tuten; and also, Douglas Paine Bacon and Debi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
