She was predeceased by : her parents, George Edenfield-Hooks and Ola Edenfield-Hooks; and her children, Henry "Buddy" Ambrose Powell and Mary Ann Green. She is survived by : her children, John J. Powell (Nancy L.), Terry Powell (Pam) and Nicky Powell (Kay). She is also survived by her twenty-six grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren and her thirteen great-great grandchildren, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
