She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Kangeter and Maude Futch Kangeter; and her siblings, George W. Kangeter, Ray Gordon Kangeter, Shirley Walker, Christine Jernigan, Dorita Beckworth and Barbara Ann Kangeter.
She is survived by: her husband Mikell Dean Hilliard; her sons, George Mikell Hilliard (Kimberly) of Ellabell, William David Hilliard (Heather) of Pooler, Paul Daniel Hilliard of Ellabell and Matthew Dean Hilliard (Jennifer) of Pembroke; and her brother Tommy Kangeter (Wanda) of Thunderbolt. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
