He was predeceased by: his parents, Elry Fortner and Marie Perry Fortner; and his brother Johnny E. Fortner. He is survived by: his son Kacy Cameron; his daughter-in-law Emily Fortner of Durham, NC; his stepchildren, Sean Avant of Columbia, SC and Angel Fabian of Bulloch County; his brother Butch; and his sister-in-law Becky Fortner of Pembroke. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
