He was predeceased by: his father Russell Daniel Hughes, Sr.; and his grandparents, Joe Winter, Eloise Winter, Joy Winter, Winnie Fanning Hughes and Garland Hughes.
He is survived by: his mother Beth Winter Hughes of Pembroke; his children, Madaish Hendrix (Ira) of Millen, Chelsea Way of Illinois, Tristian Neff of Tennessee, Trenton Hughes of Tennessee, Zoey Hughes of Midway and Patrick Boelens of Midway; his sisters, Misty Jones (Alvin) of Pembroke, Ashley Smeelie (Nick) of Tallahassee, FL and Joyce Samuels (Mark) of Middleburg, FL; his grandchildren, Camden, Kashtyn, Laila, Kiera, Tyson and Keymon; his cousins, Gene Bashlor and Wyatt Hughes (Katie); his close friend Scotty Norris; and his nieces and nephews, Joshua, Alyshia, MyKayla, Dez, Jace, Aden, Ian, Kimora and Amyiah.
