It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Smokes Harden of Pembroke, Georgia, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Jeannette Snead of Fayetteville, GA., Catherine Smokes of Pembroke, GA., Thomas Jr. Smokes of Pembroke, GA. and Eric Smokes (Nancy) of Eastman, GA.; her stepchildren, Apostle Willie Bell Jefferson of Savannah, GA., Elder Ronnie Harden (Rose) of Savannah, GA., Sara Harden of Savannah, GA. and Bennie Harden of Savannah, GA.; and her daughter-in-law Delphine Williams of Redwood City, CA.
