He was predeceased by: his sons, Bobby Mello and Thomas Mello Jr.; and his parents, Frank Mello and Leatrice Sorze. He is survived by: his wife Jean Bissell; his sister Maryann Chorney; and his children, Denise Agnello of Ogden, UT, Tim of Houston, TX, Leotina Foley of Cleveland, OH, Jeff of Dallas, TX and Jeremy of Pendergrass, GA. He is also survived by his fourteen grandchildren; and numerous great- and great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jackson County Senior Citizen's Center (151 Stan Evans Dr, Jefferson, GA 30549).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Albert Gordon Post 56 American Legion, P.O.Box 861, Jefferson, Georgia 30549.
