It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Ashton of Perry, Georgia, born in Newport, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 17, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Samuel, George and Bob. He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Ashton; his wife Janice; his children, Karen Ashton-McKenna (Barry Meunier), Jeffery (Marian) and Donald David (Danielle); his grandchildren, Kira Weaver (Clint), Jillian Dubois (Meaghan Fiske), Jeffery Ashton Jr. (Trista), Nathan Ashton (Jennifer), Zeben Ashton (Michael), Cassandra Ashton-Griffin (Dan), Matthew McKenna (Amanda), Shannon McKenna (Alex Costa), Ella Ashton and Aiden Ashton; and his great grandchildren, Carter Bo, Conner Reed, Emerson Lou, Livia Mae, Cooper Ellis, River, Nicola, Henry and Baby McKenna.
