He was predeceased by: his parents, Plennie Clarence Parrish and Mattie Louise Parrish (Stilwell); and his brothers, Phillip Parrish and Harold Parrish. He is survived by: his wife Betty Parrish (Johnson); his daughter LaBet Parrish Perry (Tom); his grandchildren, Matthew Thomas Perry (Kelly) and SaraBeth Parrish Douglas (Blake); his great grandchildren, Richard Mason Douglas of South Carolina, Maddox Rucker Douglas of South Carolina and AmeliaRae Louise Douglas of South Carolina; and his pet Duke.
