It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Jones of Portal, Georgia, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her children, Bernice Gilbert (Nay Nay) of Portal, Shirley Allen (William) of Portal, Patricia Goodman of Portal, Virginia Williams of Metter, Deloise Jones of Metter, Janice Gresham (Mike) of Covington, Jeffery Jones (Shirley) of Statesboro, Donald Jones of Portal and Charles Jones; and her sister Willie Mae Green of Dania.

A walk-through viewing will be held on Monday, October 12th, 2020, from 6-7 PM at Craig R. Tremble Funeral Home, Statesboro Chapel. *As a recommendation by the CDC, due to COVID-19, we are requiring that a mask be worn while attending viewing or graveside service.* Thank you for your cooperation.
