She was predeceased by : her parents, Rev. Charlie and Rubye Jones Lane; her husband Henry Deal Harden Sr.; her brother Charlie Lane Jr.; and her son-in-law Glenn Willis.

She is survived by : her children, Henry Deal Harden, Jr. (Julia), DC of Washington, Charles T. Harden (Eddye) of Tallahassee, FL and Patricia Willis of Atlanta, GA; her grandsons, Roderick Zheng-Harden (Susan) of Los Angeles, CA, Justin Harden of Tallahassee, FL and Jared Harden Willis of Atlanta, GA; her great grandchildren, Saafir Harden of Pensacola, FL and Zoe Zheng-Harden of Los Angeles, CA.; and her sister Lois H. Kirkland of Millen, GA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemci, COVID protocols will be followed and there will be limited seating. Masks will be mandatory.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to the Willow Hill Heritage and Renaissance Center, Inc., In Memory of Mrs. Veleria L. Harden.
