He is survived by: his son Donald Larry Meers, Jr. (Julie) of John's Creek, GA; his siblings, Juanita Garner (Tommy) and Gary Meers of Zebulon; and his grandchildren, Shay, Bruce and Libby. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
