We bid farewell to Joel Lindsey Jr. of Powder Springs, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 13, 2025 at the age of 92. Joel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife June L. Lindsey. He is survived by: his children, David Lindsey (Heather), Joellyn, Lindsey Stiles and Tom Lindsey (Kim); his sister Margaret Ingram (Larry); and his grandchildren, Bobby Lindsey (Jennifer), John Lindsey (Lana), Shannon Lindsey, Brandon Stiles, Michael Stiles (Emily), Ashley Lindsey, Joseph Lindsey (Laurel) and Allison Wilson (Matthew). He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A committal service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mayes Ward Dobbins Macland Chapel (3940 Macland Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127).
