He is survived by: his wife Sally Conley Foster; his children, Peter Foster (Barbara) of Powder Springs, GA, Todd Foster (Michelle) of Longmont, CO, Wendy Young (Tony) of Dodgeville, WI, Lou'Ann Haag (Gregory) of Oakdale, TN and Amy Hawkins (Daniel) of Lake Mary, FL; and his brother Thomas Foster (Maryann) of Grand Junction, CO. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twenty six great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and multiple nieces and nephews.
