It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gladys Arnold (Quitman, Georgia), who passed away on August 9, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Wanda Lux; and her siblings, Leola Arnold, Geraldine Arnold, J. P. Arnold, Hayes Arnold, Jr., Herbert Arnold, Wilbur Arnold and Isaacs Arnold.
She is survived by: her siblings, Polly Nixon (NY), Maggie Andrews (Quitman), Maudie Virgil (Quitman), Eddie Lee Arnold (Quitman), Remer Arnold (Quitman) and James Arnold (Quitman); and her children, Joann Demps (Valdosta), Ernestine Williams (Larry), Gloria Denson (Quitman), Mary Jo Arnold, Marie Manning (Valdosta), Catherine Richardson (Quitman), Freddie Richardson (Valdosta), Joyce Hollis (Quitman), Eddie Richardson, Delores Lane (Quitman), Frances Neloms (Quitman) and Mary Ann Richardson (Atlanta). She is also survived by 29 Grandchildren and a host of Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
