She was predeceased by: her parents, L. C. Sluder and Emma Hollifield Sluder; her husband Virgil Brown; and her siblings, Ernest Sluder, Vesta Hammontree, Clyde Sluder, Hazel Ratcliff, Clem Sluder, Lona Fowler, Jordan Sluder, Jeanette and Jim Sluder.
She is survived by: her children, Donald L. Brown Sr. (Cynthia) and Kathy Ayers (Jon); her sister Ruby Ratcliff; and her grandchildren, Kylee Zulueta (Jose), Donald "Lamar" Brown Jr. (Brenda), Celeste Manzano (Chad) and Rebecca Price (Ron). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
