He was predeceased by : his parents, Elihue D Cummings and Addie Mae Stansell Cummings. He is survived by : his wife Emma Ruth Cummings; his children, Genia Smith (Delane), Leann Capps (Chris), Stephanie Cowart, Sharon Hunt and Melissa Tipton; his grandson Christopher Ansley; and his siblings, Wanda Spires (Jack), Marilyn Drenne (Eric), Lewis Cummings (Kim) and Larry Cummings (Connie). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
