She was predeceased by : her parents, Sylvester Benefield and Lillie Metts Benefield; and her husband Talmadge Horten. She is survived by : her children, Wayne Horten (Jemima) of Douglas, GA, Shelia Hilliard of Waycross, GA and Phyllis Cady of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by Five Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
