She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Darden, Sr. and Geneva Curl Darden; and her siblings, Jean Smith, Rosie Powell, Johnny Darden, Jr. and Jim Darden.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Durrence (David) of Reidsville and Fredrick Toole of Athens; and her siblings, Evelyn Herring (Richard) of Lyons, Christine Cone of Lyons, Jackie Darden (Miriam) of Vidalia and Billie Darden (Marilyn) of Lyons. She is also survived by grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
