He was predeceased by : his parents, Duncan and Gladys Padgett, Sr.; his wife Eddie Jane Padgett; and his siblings, Robert Padgett, Johnnie Mae Rogers and Hubert Padgett.
He is survived by : his daughters, Brenda Shore (Rob) of Reidsville, Linda Marshall of Reidsville, Ann Colson (Jay) of Statesboro and Tammy Rhoden (Mack McLain) of Jesup; and his siblings, Lizzie Bell Edwards of Reidsville, Roy Padgett of Lyons and Roger Padgett of Reidsville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
