He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Delma Franklin and Jocey Lee Poole Garrett; his children, Ann Underwood (Fred) of Lyons, Joy Beckum (Alex) of Lyons and David Garrett (Leslie) of Lyons; and his siblings, Margaret McDonald of Vidalia and Mack Garrett (Nelda) of Lyons. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
