It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jimmy Hinton Kennedy (Reidsville, Georgia), who passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hinton and Lera Burroughs Kennedy; his wife Reba Wilson Kennedy; and his siblings, Anne Kennedy DeLoach and John D. Kennedy.

He is survived by: his daughter Emma; his son-in-law Marvin Pettyjohn; his grandsons, Calvin and Conner Pettyjohn; and his brother Jerry Kennedy of Pelham. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
