He was predeceased by : his parents, Marion Leroy and Alberta Cone Tidwell II; his brother Marion Leroy "Bubba" Tidwell III; his wife Ester Grace Tidwell; his daughter Angela Heather Tidwell; and his stepchildren, Dewey Ulmer, James Ulmer and Peggy Lynn Ulmer.
He is survived by : his children, Marion Leroy Tidwell IV and William Mathew Tidwell; and his stepchildren, Johnny Ulmer, Richard Ulmer, Wayne Ulmer, Joey Ulmer and Betty Willis. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
