She was loved and cherished by many people including : her caregiver Ramona Ioane; her parents, James "Mandy" Scruggs and Lizzy Ray Scruggs; her former life partner E. B. Caldwell (Jack); her son Jack; her adoptive father Winston Scott; her husband Jack Caldwell; her stepson Johnnie Caldwell; her siblings, Bobby Scruggs, Lavern Nix of Thomaston, GA. and Josie Simmons of Thomaston, GA.; her son Michael S. Caldwell (Barbara) of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Zachary of Los Angeles, CA and Kyle Scott of Los Angeles, CA; and her brother Benny Scruggs. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Flowers are appreciated as well as donations in her memory to Hospice of South Georgia in Jesup, GA.
