Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Lane and Beulah Lane; his wife Judy Lane; and his sister Rona Jean Chamberlain. He is survived by: his significant other Renee Workman; his children, Debra Carter, Shawn Martin and Kyle Martin; and his nieces, Jennifer Woodmansee (Guy) and Lea Ann Cates. He is also survived by several cousins, other relatives, and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial (124 Jordan St, Reidsville, GA 30453). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at the Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
