She was predeceased by : her parents, Leon Dorsey and Mattie Bell Dorsey; her husband Carlton Howell Sr.; her children, Carlton Howell, Jr. and Diane Howell; her siblings, Talmadge Dorsey, Jacob Dorsey, Curt Dorsey, Marion Watts, Juanita Aaron and Bernice Lawrence; and her great grandchild Haley Hutcheson.
She is survived by : her daughter Karen Hutcheson (Rodney) of Reidsville; her grandchildren, Dale Howell (Patty) of Reidsville, Jason Howell (Kelly) of Reidsville, Scottie Howell (Rebecca), Dusty Hutcheson (Allison) of Lyons and Shannon Hutcheson of Reidsville; and her siblings, Harold Dorsey (Maxine), Roy Gene Dorsey (Genelle) and Latha Fowler (Harold) of Statesboro. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
