He is survived by : his former life partner Anita Marie Goodson Wilson; his stepfather Jess Withrow; his siblings, James "Bud" Wilson, Jack Wilson, Willard Wilson, Helen Starks and Bennie Lea Porter; his wife Jean Hooker Grooms; his children, Shelia (Daniel Johnson), Linda Lavonne (Tommy Land), Curtis (Tonia Wilson) and Russell (Caroline Wilson); his brother Willie Wilson of Chatsworth, GA; his sister-in-law Linda Wilson of Resaca, GA; and his sisters, Mary (Wayne Bartley) of Chatsworth, GA and Arzella Baggett of Chatsworth, GA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
