We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Bertie Patton of Resaca, Georgia, born in Rome, Georgia. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lector Tate Sr. and Rosella Fowler Tate; and her siblings, Robert Lector Tate Jr. and Jessie Tate Sisson. She is survived by: her sons, Bobby Patton of Resaca, David Patton (Dianne) of Resaca, Lamar Patton (Sandra) of Resaca, Dennis Patton (Debra) of Resaca, Harlon Patton Jr. of Resaca, Kenneth Patton of Resaca and Wendell Patton (Rachelle) of Resaca; and her granddaughter Barbara Epperson (Pete) of Resaca. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, social distancing guidelines will be observed and it is suggested that those attending visitation and funeral service to wear a mask.
