He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude Lee Coggins and Mary Lizzie Slay Coggins of Chambers County. He is survived by : his sister Sarah Coggins McGlawn; his brother-in-law Jack McGlawn of Birmingham, Alabama.; his wife Diane Holcomb Coggins; his sons, Trent Lee (Anna Coggins) and Trey Thomas (Jennifer Coggins); and his grandsons, Hayden, Owen, Graham, Murray, Harrison, Marshall and Warren Coggins. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In Lieu of flowers a donation to the Gideons in memory of Coy Coggins.The family request face mask to be worn and social distancing for your safety.
