He was predeceased by : his father George Bockelmann; and his brother Melvin Bockelmann. He is survived by : his close friend Glenda Susser; his daughter Sara Katherine Bockelmann; his granddaughter Jordan Susser-Damms; his mother Katherine Short Bockelmann; and his siblings, Kurt Bockelmann and Georgianna Buchanan.
