He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Kight and Minnie Kight; his former wife Voncile Moody Kight; and his siblings, Edwin Preston Kight, Hilton Kight (Cora), Louie Kight, Ruby Deloach (Charles) and Iris Sikes (Layton).
He is survived by: his wife Rachel M. Kight; his brother Joe Olliff Kight (Maxie); his daughters, Mona Kight Ratchford (Joseph) and Molly Kight Marchese (Joe); and his grandchildren, Ryan Kight Ratchford (Allison), John Murray Ratchford (Emma Wheeler), Katie Kight Marchese, Ella Voncile Marchese and Lucy Jo Marchese. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Building Fund of Trinity Baptist Church of Springfield, PO Box 1260, Springfield, GA 31329 or a church of your choice in memory of Murray Kight.
