She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Paul Gordy, Sr. and Margaret Evelyn Mosely Gordy; her husband Thomas Edward Kirkland; and her siblings, Billy G. Gordy, Martha Nell Powell and Jimmie Faye Tyson.
She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Edward Kirkland, Sr. and Victor Kirkland; and her siblings, Jim Paul Gordy, Jr., Ronald Gordy, Robert Gordy, Michael Allen Gordy, Wallace Gordy and Elisa Ann Alchain. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
