It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katherine Shirley of Rincon, Georgia, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on December 8, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald G. Spellman and Mona T. Spellman (McCallister); and her husband Bennie W. Shirley. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Davis of Georgia, Sharon Shirley of Mooresville, Karen Rogers of Mooresville, Brenda Ballenger of Kentucky and Selby Shirley of Kentucky; and her brothers, Carl Spellman, Kenneth Spellman and Scott Spellman. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
