She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence William Ard and Lelon Ola Powell Ard; her husband Fenton R. Blanton; her grandson Richard Keith Blanton; her siblings, Willa Mae Roberson, Mary Von Ard, Miriam Ard Owens, Mildred Ard Marsh and Dexter W. Ard; and her daughter-in-law Elsie Blanton.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Blanton of Statesboro, GA, Bobby Blanton (Linda) of Rincon, GA, Connie Garrison of Springfield, GA, Donnie Blanton (Patsy) of Savannah, GA, Sherril Wells (David) of Sylvania, GA, Ola Gay Blanton of Clermont, FL and Donna Blanton of Savannah, GA; and her sister Linda Ard Bunch of North Charleston, SC. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
