She was predeceased by: her parents, Kermit Hughes and Virginia Benton Hughes; and her sister Joy Wyrick. She is survived by: her children, Rene Ownbey, Ryan Stickland and Trisha Worley (Curtis); her siblings, Odis Hughes (Sue), Charles Hughes (Judy), Joe Hughes, Diana Patrick, Barbara Hughes, Judy Putnam (Terry) and Vickie Hullender; her grandchildren, Andrew Bennett, Amber Pullum (Taylor), Zachariah Strickland, Trevor Pierce (Chloe), Sierra Morris (Austin), Trey Wilson and Tynslee Wilson; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Logan, Xander, Kyrie, Nova, Carter, Emerson, Jameson and Huxton. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and numerous extended family & friends.
