We bid farewell to Barry L. Riley of Rising Fawn, Georgia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 24, 2025 at the age of 77. Barry touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carlisle Riley and Ruth Janet Smith Riley; his siblings, Sherry Gale Meetz and Doug W. Riley; and his grandson Preston Heath Riley.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Riley; his children, Shawna Lynn Riley, Joseph Riley (Tonya) and Brian Riley (Wanda); his grandchildren, Destiny Riley, Austin Riley, Deven Smith and Praveen Sidella; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Riley and Brynleigh Riley. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
