She was predeceased by : her parents, John McGatha and Mary Frances Griffin McGatha; her husband T. F. "Buddy" Holmes; and her siblings, Earl, Grady, L. J. McGatha, Pat, Annie Lou, Ann, Ruth, Ruby, Laura Bell and Surlla Mae.

She is survived by : her daughters, Carolyn (Olin Streetman) and Barbara (Joey Norris); her grandchildren, Rebecca Hindmon (Chris), Crystal Dillard (Linzy), Constance Bowman (Allen), Hillary Deems (Colt), Isaac Streetman (Mary), Mischa Norris, Devin Ploof, Levi Laffitte (Cassidy) and Braden Mobbs; and her sister-in-law Shelvie McGatha. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
